Held
on the first Thursday of each month in Harrogate and
the Third Thursday of each month in York we explore
different wine regions and themes each month.
These
evenings are suitable for people with no previous wine
knowledge and are an informal and relaxed introduction
to the world of wine. We will learn about the classic
wines of the world and demystify some wine tasting terms.
We provide a simple supper, appropriate to the wines
e.g. a cheese board or a selection of continental meats
with all wines included in the price. Learning will
be through a tutored comparative tasting and group discussion.
We
pride ourselves in choosing excellent quality wines
and we will taste at least 7 wines during each evening. All
wines, notes and glassware are included in the course
fee. Students need only bring a notebook and pen. Class
numbers are limited so early booking is advised.
